Can I Import Past Orders Into Indexync?

Category: Order Management•Last updated: 9/2/2026

Yes. On the Pro and Scale plans, Import Order History in Settings pulls up to 60 days of past orders per connected store into Indexync, for orders that arrived before you connected or that a normal sync missed. It doesn't take stock off your other marketplaces for those orders, and it doesn't send you a new-order notification for each one.

Applies to: Pro and Scale plans

Where to find it

  1. In the sidebar, click Settings.
  2. Click the Orders tab.
  3. Scroll to the Import Order History card, below Export Orders.

On Free and Lite, this card shows an upgrade prompt instead of the controls below.

How to import your order history

  1. Choose a lookback window: Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or Last 60 days. 60 days is the default and the maximum.
  2. Click Import Order History.
  3. Each connected store fetches independently and shows its own status: Importing…, Completed, Finished with errors, Failed, or No historical orders present.

Example: you connect a new Shopee store that already has two months of order history sitting on Shopee. You run Import Order History at 60 days. Indexync fetches everything from that window; orders you'd already synced normally are skipped rather than duplicated, and the card shows something like "58 imported / 61 fetched (3 skipped)" once it finishes.

What counts toward your usage

  • Imported orders count toward your monthly order limit, the same as any order that arrives through a normal sync. If you're already close to your limit, a large import can push you over it; see plan limits and order processing for what happens next.
  • Stock is not adjusted. Importing past orders never deducts stock on any of your marketplaces, since those sales already happened before Indexync was tracking them.
  • You don't get a "new order" notification email for imported orders. Notification emails are for orders that need your attention now; historical orders are already resolved, so Indexync doesn't email you about each one.

Things to know before you run it

  • One run at a time, account-wide. After a run, the button is briefly disabled and shows a countdown until it's ready again. Importing also waits if any of your stores has a sync already running.
  • If a store shows no orders imported, turn on Include unlinked orders for that store in the Order Settings grid above, or import its products first, then run the import again.
  • Settlement details fill in automatically for orders that had already settled by the time you import them; orders still in progress on the marketplace won't have those details until they settle.

FAQ

Which plans can import order history?

Pro and Scale. On Free and Lite, the card shows an upgrade prompt in place of the controls.

Does importing past orders affect my stock?

No. Historical orders never deduct stock from your other marketplaces, since the sale already happened before you connected or before a normal sync would have caught it.

Do imported orders count toward my monthly order limit?

Yes, the same as any other order. A large import close to your limit can push you into Limit Exceeded for the newest imported orders.

Why does one of my stores say "No historical orders present"?

That store had no orders in the window you selected. Try a longer lookback, or check that the store's products have been imported if you expect unlinked orders to show up.

How far back can I import?

Up to 60 days per run. There's no way to reach further back than that.
