The problem

Why brands with a Shopify store add Shopee

A shopper who starts on Shopee never sees a Shopify-only catalogue. Listing the same products there reaches them without building anything new. The question is whether the extra sales are worth the extra work, because a marketplace costs you time twice.

Every time you list a new item

  • You recreate the listing on Shopee and copy the product information across by hand
  • You pick the Shopee category and fill in its attributes
  • You build the variations and options again, and re-upload the images to fit Shopee’s requirements

Then every day after that

  • You keep the stock numbers in step by hand and work a second order screen
  • You update pricing and promotions twice, once on each store
  • You reconcile a second set of payouts and answer a second inbox

Sales and overselling

  • The two keep separate stock numbers and neither tells the other
  • One store sells out while the same stock sits unsold on the other
  • Shopee can sell a unit your Shopify store has already sold

Lost sales and overselling penalties cost you.

Indexync takes that second set of work off the table. One seller who had given up on Shopee once already came back to it through Indexync, replicated the listings she was already selling on her own store, and has been with Indexync since April. In a recent month her Shopee shop did more than 170 orders and over S$14,000 in sales.

One workspace

What you can do from one place

Product & Listing Management

  • Indexync builds the Shopee catalogue for you: category, attributes, image re-cropping. 93% of products need no manual input at all.
  • A catalogue is usually live in under 20 minutes.
  • Update a product once and every channel gets the change, one product or the whole catalogue in bulk.
  • Give Shopee its own title, price or photos where you want to. Everything else keeps following the master.

Automatic Inventory Sync

  • Update your stock once and it syncs to both Shopify and Shopee.
  • A sale on either side adjusts the count and syncs to the other on its own.

Order Management

  • Every Shopify and Shopee order lands in one queue.
  • Pick, ship, print labels and fulfil in bulk across both at once.
  • You stop working each Seller Centre separately.

Cross-Channel Analytics

  • Shopee charges you differently from your own storefront, so the channel with more orders is not always the one making more money.
  • Orders, sales and trends across both in one view.
  • Fees, payouts and effective margin per channel and per SKU, with return and cancel rates beside them.

Import existing products with smart matching

Connect your shops and Indexync imports what you already sell, automatically matching the same product across channels. Nothing is changed until you approve the matches, and you can also match any product yourself.

Run promotions across channels

Build a promotion once in Indexync and push it to both Shopee and your Shopify store, and to Lazada if you sell there too.

What else is included?

  • Order band. Built for sellers doing 50 to 3,000 orders a month; Pro covers 1,000 orders a month, Scale covers 5,000, and above that Indexync builds you a custom plan.
  • Free trial. 14 days, full access, no limits, no credit card.
  • Countries. Indexync works in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam.
  • Real-time stock sync. On Pro and Scale a sale updates your other shops as it happens, because Indexync acts on the marketplace's order push. A tool that waits for a scheduled order pull updates only after the next pull runs.
  • Safety stock buffer. On every plan: hold back units so the marketplaces see fewer than you own. Hold 10 of 100 back and your shops list 90.
  • Custom sync rules. On Pro and Scale, link stock across listings so bundle SKUs follow the stock of their component SKUs and pack sizes follow their ratios.
  • Cross-Channel Analytics. On Pro and Scale: cost price, net profit and margin per channel and per SKU, next to seller payouts and fee breakdowns.
  • Financials. On Pro and Scale: a top line P&L across all your online stores, or each store on its own.
  • Bulk order work. On Lite, Pro and Scale: combined pick lists, batch ship on all four channels, and bulk shipping labels on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop merged into one PDF.
  • Media Center. Product photos and videos in one library, reused across every channel. Auto image fixing corrects the size or aspect ratio to each marketplace's rules during the sync.
  • Expanding to a new marketplace. Select what you already sell and bulk create it on the new channel, with the category, attributes and required information filled in for you to review and publish. The step by step is in how to copy listings between Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.

Plug and play. There is no setup project and no tutorials to watch, and you do not need to finish in one sitting: Indexync does the first pass. You review.

If you run campaign days, start on Pro. When Shopee and your storefront sell hard at the same time, five minutes is a long time to be selling from a number that is no longer true. Pro and Scale update stock in real time whatever your quantity.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Indexync syncs Shopify and Shopee inventory from one shared stock count: a sale on either channel takes the unit off the other, in real time on Pro and Scale. On Free and Lite the update follows the five-minute cycle.
No. Indexync reads the catalogue and sends selected products to Shopee. The theme, checkout and storefront are untouched.
No. You update the product once in Indexync and the other channel follows.
Yes. You choose which products to bring into Indexync, so you can list a selection rather than everything.
Usually not. Indexync matches listings via its smart matching logic, and you review and approve. If a product has a completely different name and SKU on each shop, you match it yourself, once, during setup. You can also change any match afterwards.
Yes. Open the Shopee shop first, then connect it to Indexync.
15 minutes to connect two shops, including the catalogue import. There is no setup project and no tutorials to watch: Indexync does the first pass and you review it.
No. Indexync imports your products and listings directly from each marketplace, not from your old tool, and nothing is changed until you approve the matches. Your live listings stay as they are.
Yes. Indexync imports your listings from each marketplace and suggests which listings are the same product across your stores, so you review and approve matches instead of rebuilding a catalogue. Your live listings stay as they are until you approve a change.
