How to sync stock between Shopee and TikTok Shop

To automate your stock syncing between Shopee and TikTok Shop, connect both stores on Indexync and import the listings via Indexync's smart matching, which auto maps your existing listings and pushes the source store's stock to your connected stores. Inventory is adjusted whenever a sale happens on either marketplace and syncs to all connected stores in real time on Pro and Scale, and every five minutes on Free and Lite.

What are the ways to keep Shopee and TikTok Shop stock in step?

There are four ways to keep Shopee and TikTok Shop stock in step: retype the number in both Seller Centres after every sale, split your stock so each marketplace gets its own share, hold back a safety stock buffer, or connect both shops to one stock count with a tool. Only the last one keeps your stock accurate through a TikTok Shop live, in real time on Pro and Scale.

How do you set up stock sync between Shopee and TikTok Shop?

Set up in 15 minutes: connect your Shopee Seller Centre and your TikTok Shop Seller Center to Indexync, review the matches Indexync suggests between the two sets of listings, and import the matched products. From the first sale after the import, both marketplaces work from the same stock count.

  1. Connect each shop in Settings, under Connections. You approve the connection on the marketplace’s own Seller Centre login, so Indexync never asks for a shop password.
  2. Review the matches. Indexync pairs your Shopee and TikTok Shop listings via its smart matching logic. A product with a completely different name and SKU on each shop is one you match yourself, once, here.
  3. Import the matched products. Nothing on your shops changes until you approve the matches, and you can also match any product yourself.

Indexync is plug and play: there is no setup project, no training and no tutorials to watch. If you can use a Seller Centre, you can use Indexync.

What does real-time stock sync across marketplaces actually mean?

Real-time stock sync means the tool changes the other marketplace as the sale happens rather than on a schedule, which Indexync does on Pro and Scale. A tool either receives the marketplace’s order push the moment an order is placed, or it polls for orders on a cycle and only updates the other marketplaces after the next poll.

How quickly a tool hears about the sale is what decides the speed, not how fast it writes the new number. Indexync works from the marketplace order push, and on Free and Lite the update runs every five minutes. So the question to ask any tool is how it finds out that the sale happened.

A five-minute cycle is a window in which Shopee and TikTok Shop can both sell the same unit, and that window matters most on a campaign day like 9.9, 11.11 or 12.12, during a flash sale, and during a live.

How do you stop overselling during a TikTok Shop live?

Give both shops one shared stock count and update it in real time, which Indexync does on Pro and Scale, so a unit sold on the live comes off your Shopee listing before the next viewer buys it. A safety stock buffer on the live SKU gives you a further cushion. On Free and Lite the five-minute cycle is slower than a live moves, and that is worth knowing before you start.

The full answer, including the free options and what each costs you, is in the guide on how to stop overselling across marketplaces. The Shopee and TikTok Shop integration page shows the pair in the product.

What about pack sizes, bundles and safety stock?

A safety stock buffer, units you hold back so the marketplaces see fewer units than you own, is available on every Indexync plan: keep 10 of 100 back and Shopee and TikTok Shop each list 90. Custom sync rules and bundles are on Pro and Scale.

  • Custom sync rules link stock across different listings. Sell one 100g pack and the 50g listing drops by two, because the 100g order is fulfilled as two 50g units.
  • A bundle is built from several products, and it sells only as many as its scarcest component allows, which is useful for the bundles a live audience buys.
  • Stock allocation splits your stock per store, where you want to hold a set number back in your TikTok Shop store for the live.

What does it cost to sync Shopee and TikTok Shop stock?

Indexync publishes four plans in Singapore dollars. Free covers 20 products and 30 orders a month with no credit card. Lite is S$19 a month for 200 products and 150 orders. Pro is S$39 a month for 1,500 products and 1,000 orders. Scale is S$99 a month for 7,000 products and 5,000 orders.

  • There is no contract on a monthly plan: change plan or cancel any time, and there is no onboarding fee.
  • Above 5,000 orders a month, Indexync builds you a custom plan.

The 14-day free trial gives you full access to Indexync, with no limits and no credit card, so you can set up and see the benefits before you commit. Every plan is on the Indexync pricing page.

What else changes once Shopee and TikTok Shop are connected?

Stock is one of the four jobs Indexync does in one workspace: listings, automatic inventory sync, one order queue and cross-channel analytics. The orders a live produces are the clearest case: they arrive in the same queue as your Shopee orders instead of a separate Seller Centre.

  • Order Management. Every Shopee and TikTok Shop order lands in one queue with one status set, with combined pick lists across both. You batch ship on Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and Shopify, and you print shipping labels in bulk on all three marketplaces merged into one PDF, on Lite, Pro and Scale.
  • Listing Management. Edit a product once and both marketplaces get the change, one product or the whole catalogue in bulk, with TikTok Shop free to keep its own title, price or photos.
  • Cross-Channel Analytics. Cost prices, margin and profit per store and per SKU, with seller payouts and fee breakdowns beside them, on Pro and Scale.
  • Sellers on Indexync get back 10+ hours a week.

If you also sell on Lazada, read how to sync stock between Shopee and Lazada.
