How to copy listings between Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop
You copy listings between Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop in three steps: connect both Seller Centre accounts to Indexync, select the products to copy, and bulk create them on the new marketplace. Indexync builds the new listings and suggests and fills in the category, attributes and required information, so you review and publish instead of retyping each product.
What are the ways to copy listings between marketplaces?
There are four ways to copy listings between marketplaces: retype each product in the new Seller Centre, export a spreadsheet from one marketplace and reshape it for another, fill in the destination marketplace’s own bulk-upload template, or use a multichannel tool that bulk creates the listings for you. The first three all leave you doing the category and image work by hand.
| Retype by hand | Export and reshape a file | Seller Centre bulk upload | A tool that bulk creates | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| What you do per product | You type every field again | You fill a column for every field, then fix the rows the marketplace rejects | You fill in the template, then fix the rows the marketplace rejects | You review what Indexync filled in, then publish |
| Category work | You pick a category for every product | You map every category by hand | You pick a category for every product | Indexync suggests the category from the product you already sell |
| Image work | You re-upload and re-crop every image | You handle the images separately from the file | You handle the images separately from the template | Indexync checks your images against the marketplace’s rules and fixes them in bulk |
| Stock stays in step afterwards | No | No | No | Yes, both listings share one stock count from the first sale |
| What it costs | Free, apart from your time | Free, apart from your time | Free, apart from your time | A monthly fee, from S$19 |
Every direction between Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop works the same way in Indexync, and each of the three can be the source or the destination. Shopify can be either as well, with one difference described further down.
How do you copy listings from Shopee to TikTok Shop?
Connect your Shopee Seller Centre and your TikTok Shop Seller Center to Indexync, select the Shopee products you want on TikTok Shop, and bulk create them. Indexync reads each Shopee listing, recommends the TikTok Shop category, fills in the attributes and required information, and flags any image that does not meet TikTok Shop’s rules so you can fix it in bulk. Bulk creating a catalogue on a new marketplace takes under 20 minutes on average.
- Connect both shops. You approve each connection on that marketplace’s own Seller Centre login, so Indexync never asks for a shop password.
- Select the products. You choose which products to copy, so you can start with a selection rather than your whole catalogue.
- Bulk create on TikTok Shop. You start this from Expand to marketplaces on the Products page. Indexync builds the listings, you review the categories and the fields it filled in, fix any images it flagged, and publish.
Copying your Shopee listings is how you add TikTok Shop when you already sell on Shopee. You do not rebuild your catalogue, you copy the one you already have. The Shopee and TikTok Shop integration page shows what running the pair looks like afterwards.
How do you copy listings from TikTok Shop to Shopee?
Copying from TikTok Shop to Shopee takes the same three steps: connect both shops, select the TikTok Shop products, and bulk create them on Shopee. Indexync recommends the Shopee category for each product, fills in Shopee’s required information from the TikTok Shop listing, and checks every image against Shopee’s image rules before you publish.
Shopee asks for information that TikTok Shop does not always hold, such as the weight and dimensions a shipping fee is calculated from, so Indexync asks you for those where the source listing has nothing to give. And a price you set for a live audience is not always the price you want on Shopee, so review prices as part of the publish step rather than after it.
How do you bulk create Lazada listings from your Shopee products?
Connect both Seller Centre accounts to Indexync, select the Shopee products, and bulk create them on Lazada. Indexync recommends the Lazada category from the product information already in the Shopee listing, fills in Lazada’s attributes and required fields, and fixes images that do not meet Lazada’s requirements, so the work per product is a review rather than a rebuild.
The same three steps copy Lazada products to Shopee, Lazada products to TikTok Shop, and TikTok Shop products to Lazada. If you want to copy from several shops in one pass, select products from more than one source shop and bulk create them on the destination together.
What does Indexync fill in for you?
When the destination is Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop, Indexync builds each new listing and suggests and fills in the category, the attributes and the required information, from what is already in your existing listing. 93% of products need no manual input at all.
- Smart category matching. Indexync recommends the destination marketplace’s category from the product information you already have, so you do not work through the category tree product by product.
- Attributes and required information. Indexync fills in what the destination marketplace demands from the source listing, and asks you only where the source has nothing to give.
- Bulk image fixes. Indexync checks each image against the destination marketplace’s requirements and fixes what fails, upscaling a low-resolution image or adding padding where the dimensions or aspect ratio are not compliant. Your images live in one Media Center, so you reuse them instead of re-uploading.
- Bulk apply. Anything you want set the same way across many products, you set once and apply to the whole selection.
- Quick Sync. Once a store is connected, you open Quick Sync on a product from the Products page, review the category and fields Indexync filled in, and publish it to that store.
What still needs you?
You review and publish. Indexync does the first pass and nothing is created on the new marketplace until you approve it, so the work left to you is confirming the categories Indexync chose and setting the fields only you can decide, such as the price and the shipping settings on the new marketplace.
Indexync matches your products across channels for you, and you can also match any product yourself, before or after the import. And when the destination is Shopify, Indexync creates the listings but does not suggest a category, fill in attributes or fix images, because Shopify has no marketplace category tree: those three assists apply when you copy to Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop.
What happens to stock after you copy your listings?
From the first sale after you copy, the new listings share one stock count with the originals, so a sale on TikTok Shop takes the unit off Shopee instead of leaving it there to be sold twice. Stock updates in real time on Pro and Scale, and every five minutes on Free and Lite.
The two stock-sync guides cover this in full: how to sync stock between Shopee and Lazada and how to sync stock between Shopee and TikTok Shop. If overselling is what sent you here, the guide on how to stop overselling across marketplaces compares every way to stop it, free ones included.
What does it cost to copy listings between marketplaces?
Copying listings one product at a time is part of every Indexync plan, and copying a selection in one pass starts on Lite. The plans are sized by how many products you keep in Indexync. Free covers 20 products and 30 orders a month with no credit card.
- Each plan also carries a monthly order allowance, from 30 orders on Free to 5,000 on Scale, and above that Indexync builds you a custom plan.
- Annual billing is ten months for twelve, so two months are free.
- There is no contract on a monthly plan: change plan or cancel any time, and there is no onboarding fee.
- Sellers on Indexync get back 10+ hours a week.
The 14-day free trial gives you full access to Indexync, with no limits and no credit card, so you can set up and see the benefits before you commit. Every plan is on the Indexync pricing page, and the four channels Indexync connects are on the integrations page.
