Expand Your Existing Products to a New Marketplace

To sell products you already have in Indexync on a new marketplace, connect the store, then pick which products to publish there. Indexync builds each new listing from the details you already entered. To publish many products at once, use Bulk Create Listings. It checks every product against the marketplace's rules first, so you answer each problem once for the whole group.

Applies to: All plans. The guided wizard (Bulk Create Listings) needs the Lite plan or higher; Quick Sync and the Edit Product window work on every plan, including Free.

Before you start

The new marketplace is connected in Connections (in the sidebar).
The products you want to publish are already in your Indexync catalog (import them first if not).
You know the marketplace category each product belongs to.

Pick the method that fits

Pick the method that matches how many products and stores you're working with. Every method starts from your master values on the Master Product tab; keep them, or override on the store's tab.

Publish many products to one new store (Bulk Create Listings)

The fastest way to enter a new marketplace with an existing catalog. A guided wizard checks your whole selection against the marketplace's rules, then groups anything needing your attention so you clear it for many products at once. Needs the Lite plan or higher (Free: use Quick Sync or the Edit Product window below).

1. Select Store

On the Products page, open Bulk Actions and choose Expand To Marketplaces. Pick the store and click Continue.

2. Select Products

Tick the products you want, then click Continue again. The sort menu above the list reads Sort: Name A-Z by default and also offers Product Created (Newest), Product Created (Oldest) and Name Z-A; Indexync remembers your choice. A product marked "Merges 2 variations" has more variations than this store allows; you'll name the merged options on the next step.

3. Merge Variations (only when needed)

This step appears only when a ticked product has 3 variations and the store takes 2 (Lazada, Shopee); the step bar above shows it only for a run that needs it. Each such product is its own card, open on arrival:

The card shows how the last two variations combine, for example Size + Material → Size-Material.
Edit the combined variation name and each merged option name; each field shows a character count.
If an option name is too long, Use applies Indexync's shorter suggestion for that one, or Shorten all fixes every over-long name at once.
For Lazada, when the category offers one, you can optionally send the combined option as a named Lazada attribute instead of plain text.

SKUs and stock are not affected by the merge. Continue saves the names shown and stays disabled while any product's names are still too long or repeated. There's no skip: to leave a product out of this run, click Back to Select Products and untick it.

4. Review & Fix

Before you see anything to review, Indexync works through your selection on its own: checking the marketplace's rules, filling in what it can from your other listings, and resizing images and processing video. Nothing to do here; it finishes on its own.

Example: expanding 40 Woodfield Basics products to Lazada, most clear automatically and land on To Accept, waiting for a quick look rather than a fix.

Once preparation finishes, clear anything it couldn't finish on its own. Products land on up to four tabs, worked left to right, though every tab stays open at any time. A How to Review & Fix card at the top of the board says the same in four lines.

To Accept: values Indexync worked out for you. Click Accept, or edit the value in place to decline it.
To Fill In: details the marketplace needs that Indexync couldn't work out. Fill a row in, or use Fill In Bulk to answer a whole group at once.
To Review: changes Indexync already made, like a resized image or a suggested option for a required attribute. Click Accept to confirm you've seen it, or Edit to put your own value back. Nothing here holds up the sync.
All Products: every product in the run, with filters such as Ready, Not Ready and Skipped.

A meter above the tabs shows how many products are ready to sync to that store. You don't need to visit every tab; you need every product to reach Ready. When Indexync filled something in on its own, Automatically Filled In: under the meter lists it; click a label to see which products it covers.

Which tabs show: To Review appears only while it has rows. To Accept and To Fill In stay after you finish them, with a green tick in place of the count, so you can go back and change an answer. A tab that never had anything is not shown. All Products always shows.
Next button: when you finish a tab and another still has work, the footer button changes to Next: followed by that tab's name. A finished tab also shows a card with a Next button to the next tab with open products, or to All Products.
Layout: the page scrolls with the footer fixed in place, and rows stack on narrow screens. In a row, hover a product name or value that is cut short to read it in full.

Answering To Fill In rows

Most rows take their answer right in the row.

Dropdowns and picks: the answer saves when you finish picking. When an attribute takes several options and the chosen ones don't fit on one line, the picker shows a "+" count for the rest.
Typed values: a quantity or text answer saves when you click away or press Enter.
After saving: the row shows a muted Saved and stays editable.
Long descriptions: the row shows a preview with Edit.
Lazada variation names: an option Indexync couldn't match to a Lazada name appears as Lazada Variation Name with the option's name. Products with the same Lazada category and option name are grouped, so Fill In Bulk sets the name for the whole group. If a product already uses that name on another option, the pick moves it and the other option gets its own row.
Images, size charts and other fields with no box in the row: click Open Product, which opens the product at the field that raised the row.

Example: several products share the same missing Material attribute. You pick "Cotton" once in Fill In Bulk and click Apply to answer the whole group at once. The Apply button shows how many products it reaches.

Weight and package size. The weight box starts at the product's current weight, takes numbers only, and reads a comma as a decimal point ("0,5" is 0.5). A value outside the allowed range gets a red border and a line under the box such as Maximum weight allowed: 100 kg (or Minimum weight allowed), and it isn't saved until you enter one inside the range. Package size works the same way with Maximum size allowed and Minimum size allowed. When a weight is far over the limit, such as 400 kg typed for a 3 kg limit, it is usually grams typed as kilograms, so Indexync suggests the corrected number on To Accept instead.

Names, attributes and prices

Product names. Some marketplaces ban certain words or cap name length. Indexync proposes a shorter name on To Accept when it can; a name it can't shorten without losing meaning is left as you wrote it and routed to To Fill In instead. Bulk Edit (below) can also add text to the start or end of many names at once, and a name that goes over the limit that way moves to To Fill In so you can shorten it.

Example: Indexync shortens a long T-shirt name to fit Lazada's limit. It lands on To Review; click Accept to keep it, or Edit to keep your own wording.

Attributes filled from your product information. When a required attribute is empty, Indexync fills it in from your product information, using only options from the marketplace's own list. The suggestion appears on To Review. Accept it, or click Edit to choose another option.

Prices on whole-number stores. VND and IDR have no cents, and Shopee stores in Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia also take whole numbers only. A product priced with decimals for one of those stores lands on To Fill In as Price Has Decimals Lazada Does Not Accept (the row names the marketplace). Indexync doesn't suggest a replacement price, because only you know the right amount in that currency. Click Open Product and set a whole-number price for that store, for example 250000. TikTok Shop and Lazada stores in Thailand and the Philippines keep cents.

Skipping products and Bulk Edit

Skipping a product. Click Skip Product to leave a product out of this run (a button on an open row, and a small red icon on each row in All Products). A skipped product reads Skipped by you in All Products under the Skipped filter, with Undo Skip to bring it back. That filter also holds products the run left out for you, such as ones already listed on the store, each with its reason and a What You Can Do: line.

Bulk Edit. The Bulk Edit bar above the tabs changes many listings at once, with two tools: Product Name and Brand (Shopify runs get Product Name only). A side panel opens and says it changes the store's listings in this run while your master products stay the same.

Apply To: choose All products in this run or Only products selected below. Each choice shows a count. Products you skipped or that are blocked aren't included.
Product Name: type text in Add to Start, Add to End, or both. The Brand button under each box puts in each product's own brand. Skip names that already start or end with this text is on by default. The preview lists each new name under Product Name, with its Length against the store's limit beside it and a short note under any product left as it is.
Brand: on Lazada, pick one brand for the whole selection, with Only products with no brand yet on by default (a product on "No Brand" counts as having none). On Shopee and TikTok Shop, each category has its own picker filled from that category's brand list, and you can open a category to pick per product.
Apply: click Apply to followed by the number of products. The panel stays open with a message saying how many products changed, and Done closes it. Brand is written first, so the Brand button in a name uses the brand you just set.
Counts: a name or brand set only through Bulk Edit counts as ready in the sync dialog, not as fixed by you.

Example: you have 30 products and want each name to start with its brand. Choose All products in this run, click Brand under Add to Start, and click Apply. Products that already start with the brand are left as they are, and any name pushed over the store's limit moves to To Fill In.

5. Sync

Once every product reaches Ready, click the footer's sync button, which always shows the live count, for example Sync 194 Products. A dialog summarises the run and shows only the lines that apply (the ready line is always there):

ready: products going out exactly as they are.
suggested edits: products with values Indexync filled in or changed for you, including ones you accepted on To Review. When this line has products, the dialog also asks you to confirm you're syncing them with those values and the values you entered.
fixed by you: products where you answered, accepted or edited a value yourself.
skipped: products you skipped.
not in this run: products left out for you, such as ones already listed on the store or blocked, and any you unticked after selecting.

Each line expands to the products behind it. Click Confirm and Sync, and Indexync creates the listings.

Example: you skip 2 products first, meaning to list them by hand later. The dialog's "2 skipped" line names both, and neither is sent.

If you leave the page before syncing, a Discard Changes? window warns that no listings exist yet and your selections and fixes will be lost. Click Confirm and Leave to go, or Cancel to stay.

To stop partway through, Stop Syncing asks you to confirm, then stops the retries and marks any product not yet sent Cancelled rather than Failed.

Publish one product to one new store (Quick Sync)

Quick Sync helps when you only need to add one product to one new store, and your master values are already correct for that store.

On the Products page, click the product's channel label for the store you haven't published to yet (green + badge; dimmed only when nothing is listed there).
If the product has 3 variations and this store allows 2 (Lazada, Shopee), a Merge Two Variations dialog opens first, asking you to name the merged variation and its options before anything else.
Pick the marketplace category; the required fields then appear. Carried-over fields show a coloured outline and "Auto-filled from your source listing"; anything else is marked "Please add this." An attribute Indexync fills in for you shows a Suggested label.
Click Sync to [Store].

If a variation's photo can't be used, Indexync blocks the sync and names it. Replace the photo, use image auto-fix, switch that store to the product's variation pictures (on the store tab, choose Use SKU images from Master Product tab), or List without variation images to publish now and add photos later.

Publish one product to several new stores (Edit Product window)

Use this when one product needs to land on multiple new stores in one go.

On the Products page, click the edit (pencil) icon next to the product.
In the Listings panel, select every store to publish to. Each adds its own tab, pre-filled from your master values.
Click Update Product, review the Confirm Changes summary, then Confirm & Sync. Stores with no changes are skipped.

Expanding to a new marketplace never touches your existing listings elsewhere; stock across linked stores stays in sync automatically from then on.

Troubleshooting

Store not visible in the wizard

Check the store is connected in Connections; if it shows as expired, reconnect via the connect button for that marketplace.

A product won't clear Ready

Open it from whichever tab it's currently on and answer what's shown there. All Products shows every product's current tab if you've lost track of one. If it isn't on any tab, check the Skipped filter in All Products (see Skipping a product in Step 4).

TikTok Shop rejects a product for its weight

TikTok Shop refuses any package weight above 100 kg, or a lower weight if your own courier has a tighter limit, with no override. The error says the package weight is above the maximum and names the weight and the limit that apply.

A product is blocked because the store is over its limit

Each store has its own marketplace limit, listed in Create a Product and Publish It to Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and Shopify. What you see depends on the method:

Bulk Create Listings: the review screen marks the product Blocked, and it stays out of the sync. Open the product, use the exclusion box on that store's tab to exclude options, then list again.
Quick Sync: the sync is blocked with a message starting "Couldn't list this product on" and the store name. An exclusion box in the window says how many SKUs are left to exclude. Apply it, then sync.
Edit Product window: the store is saved but not sent. Its row reads "Not synced", your other stores sync, and the store's tab has an exclusion box. Exclude what it asks for, then sync again.

A 3-variation product that can't fit a store's limit even after merging two variations is listed under All Products, in the Skipped view, with the reason.

Some products fail on sync

Note the error on the failed row: a rejected category, a prohibited keyword in the title, or a variation photo that can't be used. Fix it, use image auto-fix, or List without variation images, then re-run with only the failed products selected.

A Lazada product says Waiting

A large Lazada product shows a "Large product" note while it syncs, saying Lazada can take up to 2 minutes. If Lazada is still processing when Indexync stops waiting, the row reads "Waiting for Lazada" and asks you to sync again in a few minutes. Sync again then, without editing. On the Listings page, the listing shows a "Waiting for Lazada" label until Lazada confirms it.

FAQ

Do I have to re-enter all my product details for each marketplace?

No. Indexync starts every new listing from your master product values; you only fill in what the new marketplace needs that isn't already there.

What if a marketplace needs information my product does not have?

It lands on To Fill In in Bulk Create Listings, or is marked "Please add this" in Quick Sync and the Edit Product window.

Can I change a value Indexync filled in for me?

Yes. On To Accept, edit the value in place. On To Review, click Edit to reopen the row with its current value.

What happens to products that are not ready when I sync?

Only products that have reached Ready go out; the sync dialog shows the breakdown first. Anything still needing work stays in the run to finish and sync separately.

Does listing on a new marketplace change my existing listings?

No, it only creates the new listing, and its stock then stays synced with your other connected stores automatically.
