Should I use a Shopify app or a standalone tool to sell on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop?

There are three kinds of tool for this job. A Shopify connector app (for example Easy Shopee, Lazada & TikTok and Osco) installs into your Shopify store and keeps Shopify and the marketplaces in step, a standalone operations suite runs every channel from its own system, and Indexync sits in the middle: simple to set up like a connector app, and it does the whole daily job like a standalone suite.

What you are comparingShopify connector appsIndexyncStandalone operations suites
What it isAn app installed into your Shopify store that runs on Shopify's infrastructure. Shopify stays the master catalogue and the marketplaces are add-ons to it.Indexync is one workspace for Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and Shopify, and your marketplace shops are stores in their own right rather than copies of a Shopify catalogue.A standalone suite runs every channel from its own system. A bigger system is more to learn before it starts saving you time.
Where you process marketplace ordersBrings marketplace orders back into Shopify, so your Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop orders also appear in your Shopify admin and you work them there.Every order from all four channels lands in one Indexync queue, and you pick, pack and ship from that one screen. Bulk order work is on Lite, Pro and Scale.A standalone suite gives you its own cross-channel order screen instead of working inside Shopify.
Shipping labels for marketplace ordersNot described: the listings do not mention shipping labels, AWBs or courier pickup. You print Lazada shipping labels as one merged PDF, arrange Shopee pickup or drop-off in batch, submit TikTok Shop tracking in batch, and print one pick list across every channel on any plan. Bulk shipping and label printing are on Lite, Pro and Scale. Not checked for this table. Each suite publishes its own fulfilment documentation.
Stock across channelsKeeps products and stock in sync between Shopify and the marketplaces, described as real time. You sell on any channel and your stock updates automatically across all the others, in real time on Pro and Scale, and every five minutes on Free and Lite.BigSeller publishes real-time stock push below 500 units and an 8-hour cycle above it, and a sale only reaches BigSeller when it pulls orders, on a published cycle of up to 30 minutes, with a manual option to pull sooner (checked 26 August 2026).
Analytics and financialsNot described: the listings do not mention cross-channel analytics, profit or financial reporting. Your reporting is whatever Shopify gives you.You compare your channels side by side at any level, from total revenue down to a single SKU. What each channel earns after fees is on Pro and Scale. Not checked for this table. The larger suites add accounting and warehouse modules, which is more system than many sellers need.
Works without a Shopify storeNo. It is installed from the Shopify App Store into a Shopify store, so you need a Shopify plan first.Yes. Indexync runs at indexync.com and Shopify is one of four channels, so you can run Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop on their own. Indexync is also listed on the Shopify App Store.Yes. A standalone suite runs from its own system, so it does not require a Shopify store.
SetupYou install the app from the Shopify App Store and connect your marketplace accounts to it.You connect your stores by logging in. Import your listings and start syncing. No sales call, no onboarding fee. Just plug and play.A suite gives you more modules and more settings to configure before you start.
Published pricingPriced by how many products you list, on top of your Shopify plan: from US$5 a month for 10 products, or US$9 a month for 50 products and 1 marketplace.Free plan with 20 SKUs and 30 monthly orders, and paid plans from S$19 a month, billed monthly or annually.OneCart publishes S$99 a month for 300 orders. SiteGiant does not publish a price and its entry tier covers 1,500 orders a month (checked 26 August 2026).

Connector app facts come from the Shopify App Store listings of Easy Shopee, Lazada & TikTok and Osco, checked 6 September 2026. The other tools are described from their own published material, checked 26 August 2026. Shopify App Store prices are in US dollars; the other prices are in Singapore dollars.

Choose a connector app if Shopify is your main store and all you want is your marketplace orders landing in Shopify. Choose a standalone operations suite if you run a warehouse team and need modules like accounting built in. Choose Indexync if your daily job is listings, stock, orders and profit across Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop and Shopify, and you want a simple, plug and play way to run it.
